Come and join us on our special small group tours to Ireland. These tours are totally accessible for slow walkers or travelers with mobility difficulties, but are open to anyone who is looking for a great time exploring this magical country with a group of 15 or less.
Connoisseurs Ireland
Our tour begins in Dublin, where you will spend two nights at The Merrion Hotel, in the heart of Dublin’s loveliest area. You will have a wonderful city tour; with visits to Trinity College and the Guinness Storehouse. A day trip to Co. Wicklow, visiting Powerscourt House & Gardens and Glendalough awaits the next day. The following days include visits to the Irish National Stud and Japanese Gardens; Kilkenny and its castle, and a tour of the Middleton Whiskey Distillery. In Cork you will stay at another gorgeous five star hotel, before heading to Co. Kerry. A tour of the Ring of Kerry, following by a traditional afternoon tea in a five-star hotel in Kenmare awaits, as well as Killarney National Park, and a guided tour of Muckross House and Gardens in Killarney. Other delights include visits to the Cliffs of Moher; the Atlantic Edge exhibit, afternoon tea and a demonstration of sheepdogs at work at a real Irish Farmhouse, and a guided tour of Bunratty Folk Park, with a splendid banquet and entertainment on your final night in Ireland. You will either spend your last two nights at the magnificent Dromoland Castle in deluxe rooms overlooking the grounds, convenient to Shannon airport for your departure; or head back to Dublin if you are flying home from there, for some extra time exploring this fabulous city while staying in a very special hotel. Highlights of Ireland, May 6-15 or August 12-21st, 2011
This special 8 night tour will provide a wonderful exploration of this magical country. It starts with two nights in Dublin, exploring the city and Co. Wicklow; and from there you will visit Cork; Cobh, Kilkenny, Kinsale, and visit such places as the Heritage Center, Middletown Distillery Kilkenny Castle, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and King John's Castle in Limerick. You'll visit the spectacular Cliffs of Moher on the way to Galway, where you will spend two nights. A traditional Irish lunch at a farmhouse with a sheep dog demonstrations and a visit to an ancient monastic site on the River Shannon provide a fascinating day. The tour ends in Dublin the morning of your flight home. Discover Flanders, Belgium
This tour gives visitors a wonderful taste of the delights of Flanders, Belgium. It is 5 nights long and includes transfers from Brussels airport to your hotel; two nights in a four star hotel in central Brussels with breakfast daily; a two hour sightseeing tour of Brussels; First class rail tickets from Brussels to the medieval city of Ghent (only a short ride away); three nights in a four star hotel in Ghent overlooking the canal with breakfast daily; First class rail ticket to the beautiful city of Bruges, and First class rail ticket from Ghent back to Brussels. SCOTLAND AND IRELAND
Our tour begins in the exciting capital of Scotland; Edinburgh, where you will stay in an excellent hotel right on the Royal Mile for two nights, enjoying a panoramic tour of the city & Edinburgh Castle; and visits to the Scottish Parliament, The Royal Yacht Brittania, and the Museum of Scotland. From there, we travel north to see The Bonnie BonnieBbanks of Loch Lomond"; the magnificent Scottish Highlands, and Loch Ness, spending two nights in Inverness, known as "the Capital of the Highlands". We continue on to visit Stirling and its famous castle, as well as an overnight in Glasgow before taking a ferry across the sea to Ireland for the second half of the tour. We spend two nights in Belfast, with a city tour and visits to the spectacular North Antrim Coast; Giant's Causeway; and Bushmills Distillery. We travel across Northern Ireland to Derry, Sligo, Yeat's Country, and finish up visiting Donegal, Connemara, and overnighting in Galway for the last two nights, and some wonderful excursions along the way. A visit to the Celtic Crystal Factory and afternoon tea at a traditional Irish farmhouse, with a fascinating look at sheepdogs at work; the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Experience, and a cruise on the Killary Fjord is also included. All in all, this is a wonderful exploration of two different and wonderful countries in one trip. All transportation will be in an accessible luxury vehicle with wheelchair lift. Accommodations are in excellent locations in Scotland and Ireland, and all touring, accommodation, taxes, baggage handling, full Scottish and Irish breakfast daily, and a 3-course dinner on 3 nights of the tour are included. North Wales and Dublin Tour call for dates and prices
This tour will provide a wonderful opportunity to explore two countries, with half of the tour in Dublin, where you will stay in a four star city center accessible hotel. You will spend time touring the city, visiting the Guinness Storehouse ( with a complimentary pint.) with day trips outside the city or to Co. Wicklow, Newgrange in the Boyne Valley and Co. Kildare. There will also be a half day free to do some shopping in this exciting capital city or to visit museums or relax in the lovely St. Stephen's Green, one of the most beautiful city parks in Europe. You'll then take a short trip on a high speed ferry to North Wales where you will be staying for three nights in a wonderful castle-hotel with good accessible rooms. From there you will visit Anglesey the famous Slate Caverns, Portmeirion, the majestic Caernarvon Castle and a wonderful demonstration of a working sheep farm, with a sheepdog and shearing demonstration and afternoon tea. The trip will end in Manchester airport on July 21st where you fly home non-stop to the USA. All travel will be on a wheelchair accessible motorcoach using the services of a full time driver/guide throughout and a specialist guide in North Wales. Four nights accommodation in Dublin and three nights accommodations in North Wales at a unique castle/hotel are included in the tour in accessible rooms including full Irish/Welch breakfast daily as well as service charges and taxes. Four 3 course dinners are included as well as most entrance fees. Airport transfers from Dublin airport and to Manchester airport are included as well as luggage handling.
