Hi Kristy,

I wanted to share some photos with you after our fantastic trip that you created for us in Alaska. The trip was incredible and Alaska is so big and diverse that it is hard to describe. I thank you for all your help and numerous phone calls to hammer out the details. It was worth it and the crown jewel, Denali, was majestic. Your help and attention to details, show your vast travel experience. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

Thanks again,
Jeanne Arsenault

Mike and Peggy:

We had a fantastic time and are looking forward to our next cruise. As this was my first cruise while using a power chair, I had no idea what to expect. The ship itself was more than we could have imagined. Unbelievable doesn’t seem to describe it properly. As far as the accessibility is concerned, I was blown away by the size of the bathroom and the stateroom. All amenities for the wheelchair user were impressive and laid out for the wheelchair user. The only improvement I can think of is having signage in the theater that would point the able bodied away from the wheelchair section.

What can I say about our traveling companions? What a fantastic group to travel with. Everyone was so nice and understanding of each others needs. We hope to see you all of you again soon.

Hi Kristy,

I can’t tell you how much you have given me new hopes and dreams for a more active life. Until I met you at the Boston Expo, I thought I would never be able to go on vacation again. My last vacation was four years ago.

In the last three days you have changed all that. I’ve always wanted to go to Nashville. You have made arrangements for Stephen and I and our grown children at a fantastic hotel, reserved tickets for us at the Grand Ole Opry to see Carrie Underwood! To top it all off you’ve reserved us a tour at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum. At all of these venues you have made sure I will have all the handicap equipment and space necessary. You Rock!

Thank you very much,
Elaine

My name is Jimmy and I’ve been paralyzed for 15 years now. I was given Kristy’s number about 10 years ago by a fellow wheelchair bound friend. I’ve used Kristy to book several trips, her knowledge is second to non. When you try to book a trip on your own, then book one through Kristy you realize how much easier she has made your life. I think anyone in a wheelchair or anyone who’s traveled with someone disabled can understand the challenge it is to book a trip especially with all the questions we need to ask. Kristy is an encyclopedia on travel and if she doesn’t know the answer she will find the answer, I can’t say enough what a pleasure it is dealing with her.
Thanks for making a difficult part of my life that much easier Kristy.

Overall would rate the cruise ‘just about perfect’ Royal C has making passengers happy down to a science. The ENTERTAINMENT was the best we’ve experienced. Food above average and the ’SHIP” just unbelievable!!! We really enjoyed the cruise, but it would have been perfect with a quieter cabin. (We stayed in an accessible Boardwalk balcony. It overlooks the merry go round and the Aqua Theater and overhead are the zip liners and across the basketball coourt.) But it’s a large modern beautiful room laid out perfectly for someone who can’t walk.

Central Park was very peaceful at night.

FYI we just watched a Hallmark movie called ‘Love at Sea’ which was filmed on the Harmony!!!

Again thanks, it was enjoyable using a cruise planner and we look forward to having you plan more cruises for us in the future.

Hi Kristy,
We are back home after a wonderful cruise. We were apprehensive initially because it was our first cruise. Your help with securing a scooter and suggesting a trolley ride in Key west really helped us. We are impressed by the service provided by RCCL. Overall, a great and memorable cruise.

Thanks so much
Mohan

Kristy Lacroix is a professional, top-notch cruise planner. She goes way beyond the expected and is helpful in every aspect of the vacation. She answers her phone, or will get back to you promptly. Returning from my cruise, I left a suitcase at the pier on curbside, and did not discover it until the next day. When I called Kristy, she was able to calm my stress level and was VERY instrumental in helping find the lost luggage and have it returned to me. THANK YOU KRISTY!! I certainly recommend and will use Kirsty and Cruise Planners in the future.

Hi Kristy,

I just wanted to write a quick note to thank you for your tremendous help with our cruise plans. This was just the nicest cruise ever, mainly because of your hard work in ensuring everything was meticulously planned! I have to tell you, from the moment we left the house until the time we arrived back home, everything went off without a hitch! That has NEVER happened before! You really checked off all the boxes and made sure allour concerns were addressed. All we had to do was sit back and enjoy! It was as if you were right there with us, guiding us through all the checkpoints and making sure we were safe and secure. You did it all, and it flowed so smoothly. From the airlines, to the hotels, to the four different taxi shuttles, to the cruise ship itself, everyone acted as if it was their life’s mission to make sure we had the best trip ever. AND WE DID!!! Your recommendations for a hospital bed were spot on, and it worked perfectly and made our life so much easier.
As hubby’s disability has continued to progress, we really thought travel was a thing of the past, but you proved to us that we could enjoy our time away from home and do the things that were important to us and have fun doing it. It was not the chore it usually was when I was putting together our itinerary. On all other trips, by the time we reached our destination, I was so exhausted as primary caregiver, it was hard to unwind. This time, we could really relax and enjoy all the gorgeous sights our cruise had to offer. Thank you so much for your help. You were beyond professional…you treated us like family, and we are deeply grateful for everything you did. We can’t wait to cruise again and will make sure we contact you before we plan our next trip!
Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Cindy Olszewski

Thanks for the service you provide for disabled travelers.  Your attention to detail is much appreciated.  I am so grateful for crossing your path.  I never in a million years would have known what to look for in travel with a wheelchair.  The airline, hotel and accessible van all worked great for me.  I was able to have a long over due visit with my kids . Your knowledge of travel for the disabled helped me to travel in safety and comfort.  I wish you the best in continued service to others.

Thank you for all of your help planning our first cruise.  We loved the experience, especially getting up each morning and sitting on our balcony.  Everything exceeded our expectations!  The food was fabulous and we enjoyed the entertainment.  We will be booking with you again.

In the years since my retirement I have enjoyed traveling all over the World, sometimes as an independent traveler, more often as a member of an organized group. Recently, as a result of advancing years and a series of serious falls my mobility has been greatly restricted. Independent travel is out of the question and finding an agency that sponsors groups equipped to deal with persons with mobility challenges has been discouraging. Recently though, I was put in touch with a group called Wheelchair Escapes. I got in touch with them and happily was able to join them on a cruise on Royal Caribbean’s awesome Oasis of the Seas. Kristy Lacroix, the owner and principal agent for Wheelchair Escapes first suggested a scooter that was waiting for me in my cabin. Kristy was with us all the way, smoothing out any issues and anticipating our every need. For people of all ages with mobility issues, I can only recommend traveling with Wheelchair Escapes and Kristy Lacroix.
